Health : Hospital Fire Damper Replacement Programme
Alliance has been engaged in works at the Queens’ Medical Centre (QMC) since mid 2016 when the company embarked upon a significant fire damper replacement programme and associated ventilation and roof-void access works.
These works in a live hospital environment require the highest levels of programming, co-ordination and day-today flexibility to ensure minimum disruption.
Naturally all staff are Disclosure (DBS) checked and appropriately trained and supervised. Each area of work is the subject of the method statement, risk assessments and permits, with particular precautions to prevent dirt or contaminating the wards.
Privacy for patients is also assured. Each fire damper is comprehensively labelled and recorded.
Result : A successful and on ongoing programme of work by the Alliance team backed by years of assembled experience in the mechanical & HVAC projects and considerable experience in the health sector.
